Crawford studio is a fully functional recording facility built in a residential setting. A new exterior addition to the residence accommodates the control room, and the existing garage area houses the studio proper and supplementary isolation area.
The control room features a soffit mounted Quested 5.1 system and a custom furniture desk solution which houses the control surface and outboard gear. A high degree of low frequency trapping renders a uniform response at the mix position. The spaces have a high degree of sound isolation and are completely de-coupled from the structure. Separate mechanical systems ensure very low background noise characteristics within the spaces.
Finishes feature a warm neutral palette and clean rational lines.
